If you've never been to a pagan ritual - public or otherwise - this is one to check out. On Saturday, September 24th, The Coven of the Standing Stones will be hosting their free to the public, family-friendly Mabon Ritual at a lovely venue surrounded by woods and wildlife, just a short drive north of the Twin Cities metro area. To learn more or RSVP, please check out the event information on their website.
This is a wonderful event to attend regardless of whether you've been in the pagan community for ages or if you are new (or even if you just want to support your local pagans). There will be a dinner at 4pm, followed by ritual at 7:30 and then ending with an evening of fun and fellowship. A silent auction will open before dinner and close after the ritual ends, so come prepared to shop! I have seen some really cool, unique and one-of-a-kind items sold previously, so if you are on the lookout for a special Yule gift, this is a great way to help support The Standing Stones Coven so they may continue to host future events.
The Coven of the Standing Stones has been in existence for twenty-two years, making it one of the longest-standing covens in the Twin Cities metro area (a.k.a. 'Paganistan'). They have a well-established reputation for community involvement, and are regular participants in events such as Twin Cities Pagan Pride and Paganicon.
I hope to see you there!
Peace,
Sandi
